The Deltona Art Club is featuring Judy Koenig-Smith as our Artist of the Month. Her painting is now hanging in the foyer of Deltona City Hall. Judy named her painting “The Green Flash”, she has heard the story that a sunset will have a green flash before you see total darkness. This is an oil medium painting on a very large canvas, it details a coconut palm tree in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands.

Her career at Sugar Hill Pottery on Lake Champlain in Essex, N.Y. is where she would make pottery on a wheel.
